Unnatural Selection Archive

The body of work presented here has been catalogued as surviving records from a small and orderly community whose customs can only be partly inferred. The scenes indicate households, occupations, childhood instruction, and seasonal gatherings. Dress and posture suggest a society attentive to routine, etiquette, and neighbourly responsibility. The works are considered not as inventions, but as archived observational fragments of daily life from a place that once regarded itself as entirely ordinary.

The series continues to develop an ongoing body of work, with new paintings regularly added to the archive.
